PHOTOGRAPHY SHOOTS
I directed photography for seasonal advertising campaigns for Rack Room Shoes for several years. I scouted locations as well as sets for the shoots, designed and illustrated set backdrops and props, and arranged product on set for still photography. These shoots used our real customers rather than professionals as models, and I directed the model families, stylists, makeup artists, and photographers over a period of 2 days for each campaign to create visuals for in-store signs, print advertisements, and online marketing and catalogs.
Most campaigns used 4-8 models from the same family, and Back-to-School campaigns used 10-12 kids from all over the country. Each model had 5-10 outfit changes that I directed, as well as 50-75 products that I would style and shoot on location for each campaign.
